South Fife North Tacoma

I've noticed there are several bridges around Washington state that have problems. When I drive under bridges as I'm going down the highway, I hate to look up and see cracks and crumbling. When I drive on a bridge over a river, I hate to see signs of wear that indicate it might fall into the water.

Here is a bridge spanning a river on the south border of Fife going into North Tacoma. If you start at the Harley shop in Fife, and head over the bridge toward the Greyhound station in Tacoma, look up, you will see signs that indicate this bridge is in need of repair.

If you are having a hard time seeing the damage in these pictures, I added some arrows to them, so you can get a better idea of what is going on.

I hope Washington state can get this bridge repaired soon, I know people will continue to drive over it. Washington might close off access, so they can repair it. This will make a lot of people angry, but it is pretty important. Repairing this bridge could prevent property damage. Like when a semi truck carrying one or many expensive things falls into the river because of a collapsing bridge. We could prevent that. That would be good for businesses.

Oh, and another thing, we could prevent injury and death. That is always good right?
